Under Clinton/Gore, DOGE was called RIGO, but today’s Democrat CRIMINAL POLITICIANS are scared to death it’s what will send them to prison for embezzlement

Yes, Clinton and Gore swore to “cut red tape, cut waste, and streamline the bureaucracy.” Remember? No? Watch the embedded video below with clips of these plans coming straight from the horses’ mouths. “Create a government that works better and costs less,” was the motto, the goal, the aim. Today, Trump and Musk are being called Dictators, thieves and invaders of privacy for doing the same thing. How ironic. It’s the Democrats and Liberals who are screaming angry who are obviously the ones with the most to hide, who fear going to prison for decades for mass-embezzlement of billions of dollars, through USAID and other agency rip offs. Remember, DOGE back then was called the RIGO report, and was aimed at saving over a billion dollars, which back then, was like a trillion dollars now. The program was essentially the same as DOGE. “Eliminating scores of wasteful programs and regulations.” Sound familiar? What’s wrong Democrats? Why are you freaking out now, but not then?

Here are the key achievements of the National Partnership for Reinventing Government (NPR or RIGO) during the Clinton administration, which the Democrats all thought was the best thing since sliced bread.
  1. Improving Government Performance:
    • Achieved $60 billion in savings and 150,000 fewer federal employees through restructuring, eliminating waste, and streamlining operations.
    • Conducted a major review of 2,300 federal programs, leading to the elimination of 278 programs, 77 agencies, and 377 outdated rules and regulations.
  2. Enhancing Customer Service:
    • Over 30 agencies began measuring customer satisfaction using third-party international standards, showing results comparable to the private sector.
    • Expanded the use of Internet gateways, allowing for one-stop transactions and access to over 1,000 online forms.
    • Created one-stop service delivery through "hassle-free communities" in 13 states and encouraged public forums to better understand customer needs.
  3. Improving Government's Relationship with Businesses:
    • Partnered with five key regulatory agencies (EPA, FDA, FSIS, OSHA, and FAA) to pilot new approaches, deploy technology, and measure their impact on mission goals.
    • Eliminated over 16,000 pages of unnecessary federal regulations and rewrote another 31,000 pages into plain language.
    • Launched initiatives to hire former welfare recipients, resulting in over 50,000 hires by the end of 2000.
  4. Enhancing Community Partnerships:
    • Launched the "Oregon Option" to pilot joint federal-state-local efforts in child health, workforce development, and family stability.
    • Created a network of cities to reduce gun violence, including the development of a gun violence injury tracking system.
    • Implemented the Workforce Investment Act via a network of one-stop job centers, a website, and local community networks.
    • Developed a network focused on improving child well-being, including efforts to insure children.
    • Created an after-school network to ensure children have access to appropriate supervision after school.
  5. Transforming Access to Government Through Technology:
    • Created FirstGov, a one-stop website for government information, transactions, program results, and feedback.
    • Catalyzed the creation of over a dozen Internet gateway websites to serve specific user groups such as students, workers, and businesses.
    • Developed kiosks in 36 communities for one-stop services, particularly in areas under-served by the Internet.
    • Utilized mapping and geographic information as an organizing tool for cross-agency and intergovernmental policy results and accountability.
These achievements reflect Clinton’s NPR - RIGO (DOGE) efforts to modernize and improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability of the federal government. The initiatives aimed to streamline operations, enhance customer service, improve the government's relationship with businesses and communities, and leverage technology to provide better access to government services and information. Democrats applauded the efforts unconditionally, but now, Trump and Musk are “Dictators” breaking laws. Sure.
