German chancellor pushing WWIII with declaration that Ukraine's "defensive action is not limited" to its own territory
In a complete reversal of what he previously said, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz
suddenly supports Ukraine bombing territory deep within Russia.
Speaking alongside French President Emmanuel Macron in a recent appearance, Scholz tried to argue that Ukraine has the right to "defend itself" under international law because it was "attacked" by Russia.
Even though Ukrainian strikes on Russian soil, especially those involving weapons made by the United States or other Western allies, would escalate the situation with Moscow, Scholz believes it must be allowed so Kiev can "neutralize military sites ... from where ... Ukraine is attacked."
One day after Scholz said this, spokesman Steffen Hebestreit clarified that Germany now believes that Kiev's "defensive action is not limited to its own territory, but [can] also be expanded to the territory of the aggressor."
When asked what agreements have been reached between Germany and Ukraine about the use of German-supplied weapons to attack Russia, the chancellor's office declined to provide any further details.

West wants game over scenario with Russia
For months, Germany has refused to send Ukraine any of its long-range Taurus missiles because Scholz previously said that doing so would only escalate the situation with Russia.
The only way such a delivery would ever be "tenable," Scholz indicated, is if Berlin can establish the targets itself. Doing this, though, would make Germany a direct participant in the war, opening the country up to an attack by Russia.
Now, suddenly, Scholz is changing course out of the blue by confirming that his regime is "in favor of allowing the use of Western weapons against targets inside Russia."
Things changed after several other NATO countries expressed support for Ukrainian strikes deep within Russia. Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg led the pack on this by urging all NATO members last week to "consider whether they should lift some of the restrictions they have put on the use of weapons they have donated to Ukraine."
Russia has repeatedly indicated that any further escalation towards this end will be a red line, and yet the West is apparently not listening. If Ukraine uses Western-supplied weapons to attack deep Russian territory, it could be
game over for Ukraine and its allies.
The only thing standing in the way of all this right now is the United States, which is showing reluctance to sign off on Stoltenberg's proposed policy change. Some within the current regime, including U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, support it while others do not.
The Russian military is already preparing for an escalation as Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov issued a final warning about the policy change resulting in a red line being crossed.
According to Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov, Western arms are
already being used by Ukraine to target civilian infrastructure inside Russia, which means the red line has already been crossed.
"The real chancellor of Germany is Joe Biden," one
RT commenter wrote about why he thinks Scholz made this sudden about-face.
"Olaf Scholz is just the poodle of Joe Biden, sitting and barking as told. Scholz must get approval from Joe before talking or he'll have to correct his words minutes after talking."
Another joked in much the same way that Scholz is not a leader, but is merely a puppet who does as he is told.
"Olaf is a clown, and a very pathetic one at that," this person wrote in jest.
