Car dealers argue that current technology is inadequate to meet the needs of the majority of consumers. They are pleading with the administration to "tap the brakes on the unrealistic government electric vehicle mandate" and to instead focus on advancing battery technology, enhancing EV affordability, developing domestic mineral sources for batteries and establishing reliable charging infrastructure.
