Rep. Ronny Jackson: Biden "can't do the job" of U.S. president due to COGNITIVE DECLINE
Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) has argued that incumbent President Joe Biden
is unfit to become the chief executive due to cognitive decline.
He put forward this argument during an appearance on "Sunday Morning Futures" on
Fox News. Jackson – a former White House chief physician who served during the second Bush, Obama and Trump administrations – emphasized Biden's inability to function as a response to Sean Duffy's question. The anchor had mentioned why Biden "is not the same today as he was" some years ago, acknowledging the president's "mental decline" at age 81.
"It's happening quickly, Sean, like you said. It's a grueling job, both mentally and physically," said Jackson. "This man can't do the job; he's proven to us every single day that he can't to the job."
"Something's going on here – this man's got
cognitive issues related to his age, and it just continues to get worse. I did this the other day: I went back and looked at some stuff from … over three years ago when he was running for office, and compared it to right now. And it's just unbelievable how much he's degenerated during his time in office."
The Texas congressman remarked that America "cannot afford" to have Biden in office for "the remainder of this term, and then another four years after that," adding: "He's already putting us at great risk right now."
"Look at what's happening to our economy, our southern border [and] overseas – the wars that we're getting drawn into; things that wouldn't happen if [former President] Donald Trump [was] there."
"We don't have the leadership in the White House that we need, and it's because this man – even if he wanted to – cannot provide that leadership. He is not physically and cognitively fit for office anymore, and somebody in his inner circle needs to step up to the plate and make him aware of this. He needs to move on for the safety and security of this country."
Jackson constantly reminding people that Dementia Joe is no longer fit to serve
This was not the first time the congressman from the Lone Star State has called people's attention about the incumbent president's cognitive decline. Back in April, he and other Republicans penned a letter
challenging Biden to take a cognitive test or rescind his presidential candidacy.
"We call on you to resign immediately and renounce your bid for reelection, or submit to a clinically validated cognitive screening assessment and make those results available to the public," Jackson wrote. The
New York Post managed to secure a copy of the letter. (Related:

According to Jackson, a cognitive test is a must for Biden given his age, his various public gaffes and recent polls showing Americans' concern about his mental function.
"When you first announced your bid to run in the 2020 presidential election, questions and concerns were raised surrounding your cognitive abilities. Those concerns have only increased because your mental decline and forgetfulness have become more apparent since you were elected."
"Over the past two years, public appearances where you shuffle your feet; trip when you walk; slur your words; forget names; lose your train of thought; and appear momentarily confused have become more of a common occurrence. These incidences are so common and noticeable that if you search 'Biden gaffes' online, over 14 million results appear."
Jackson concluded his letter by saying that the American people "deserve complete transparency on the mental capabilities of their highest elected leader." The said letter was eventually sent to the White House in July.
