The pro-life movement must start with the unborn baby, according to pro-life activist Willy Guardiola. "It starts off with the most basic, the most vulnerable, and it's the unborn baby. If we don't take care of the unborn babies, we're not going to have anything left here on this planet," Guardiola told host Ann Vandersteel during the Oct. 10 episode of "The Zelenko Report" on Brighteon.TV. Guardiola, who has been running the nonprofit ministry Christian on a Mission since 2006, also serves as the president of the Palm Beach Country Right to Life League. He recalled bringing the pro-life movement to the Trump campaign in 2016. "I can't tell you how many babies I saved during the Trump campaign and President Donald Trump himself was grateful for it," he said. "So, we continue running with it." Now, the pro-life activist seeks to bring the pro-life movement to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. The effort seeks to ensure the Republican governor calls for a special session in the state capital Tallahassee to amend the "Heartbeat Bill," cutting down the Sunshine State's 80,000 abortions in 2021 to half by 2023. Guardiola told Vandersteel that his work has seen the most impact at a big pro-life march in Tallahassee where he was able to deliver a very powerful message to the audience. He remarked that Americans cannot dance around when saving babies, especially those living in a blue state or a county with so many liberals.

Christian churches should talk about the right of the unborn from the pulpit

According to Guardiola, he noticed a huge difference between the attitudes of the pro-life movement and Catholic churches. He visited several churches to listen to their homilies, especially after June 24 – when the Roe v. Wade ruling was reversed. Guardiola told Vandersteel that of the 53 parishes he visited, only five priests mentioned the abortion ruling. "We need to have more priests talk about the unborn's right from the pulpit. It's the Fifth Commandment: Thou shalt not kill. That to me is the most important thing, and it has to start at the churches," he said. "I'm not just picking on the Catholic Church, but the Christ fellowships and all the other churches. They need to hear it from the pulpit and from the sacred altar." Vandersteel commented that the priests' consternation may have been due to the attacks on pro-life activists as well as pro-life families lately by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). She then asked her guest if he thinks that some of the priests he visited fear spending time in prison for preaching a pro-life homily. Guardiola said Catholic priests should have never allowed the initial 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling to happen. "Every Catholic priest, along with the cardinals and bishops, should have stood up and said no to the landmark legal decision issued by the Supreme Court," he said. "Seventy million American Catholics back then should have also said no to that decision." (Related: Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, sending issue of abortion back to states where it always belonged.) While the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade case was the biggest victory that Americans have ever seen in the pro-life movement, Guardiola lamented the fact that many took it for granted – particularly the Catholic priests and pastors.
